C/R: Hemang Lower Denkyira MP Pays Courtesy Call On Constituents

The Honourable Member of Parliament (MP) for Hemang Lower Denkyira who doubles as the Deputy Minister for Employment and Labour Relations, Hon. Bright Wireko-Brobby has embarked on a four-day community tour in his constituency.

The 4-day visit he embarked on was scheduled from Friday, October 7, 2022 to Tuesday, October 11, 2022 to ensure he has given fair accounts of his stewardship and also facilitate sustainable development projects.

About 20 communities were visited and the courtesy call was paid to the major stakeholders including the District Assembly, Education Office and the Health Directorate.

Speaking to Joel Donkoh, Hon. Bright Wireko-Brobby indicated that his engagement with the communities will help him identify the problems and the way forward to address the challenges with immediate intervention. 

Through the visitation, an amount of GH¢12,000 was released for the roofing of Gyankobo Primary School and GH¢2500 for Watreso CHPS Compound Water Maintenance Project which serves as the only water supply to the CHPS Compound.

He, therefore, promised to make provisions for cement, roofing sheets, culverts, nails, polytanks and 12 pieces of Water Closets to the various communities as per their request demanded. These were promised to be provided in the ensuing week as and when their proposals and budgets were submitted. 

Lawyer Bright Wireko-Brobby also promised that, the communities that yearned for road reshaping, CHPS compounds, teachers' bungalows, rural telephony (network), toilet facilities among other social amenities will be addressed in due course.
