C/R: Education System Should Be Practical More Than Grammar - Prof. Ama Browne Klutse

A renowned Professor of Physics at the University of Ghana, Legon and an Old Student of Mfantsiman Girls Senior High School in the Central Region, Prof. Nana Ama Browne Klutse has called on the Ghana Education Service to change the system to introduce solution based training for students to acquire more skills than the grammar style of teaching and learning.

Speaking to media during the 62nd Speech and Prize Giving Day Ceremony, with the theme "Solution-Based Training for Girls; The Panacea For Academic Excellence," at Mfantsiman Girls Senior High school pleaded that, "as a lecturer at the University of Ghana Lagon, I want to plead to the Ghana Education Service to change our education system so that students can solve their own problem when they come out from school to face the world.

In an interview with the Headmistress of Mfantsiman Girls Senior High school, Mrs, Phyllis Arthur-Simpson also shared some of the challenges in teaching and learning to develop a student learning center to embrace methods easier for academic performances. 

Also, the immediate past president of old students, Maame Esi Hammond urged the introduction of practical aspects of teaching and learning to equip the students after school.
