GOMOA WEST: Dilapidated Roads Pose Threat To Commuters - Paramount Chief Laments

The former President of the Central Regional House of Chiefs, who is the Paramount Chief of Gomoa Ajumako Traditional Council, Obrempong Nyanful Krampah XI has said, bumpy rides have become a daily hassle for motorists due to poor condition of roads in the area. 

He pleaded with the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and Roads and Highways Minister, Hon. Kwasi Amoako-Atta who doubles as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Atiwa West to as a matter of urgency solve the deteriorated condition of the road to ensure efficacious usage.

According to him, the roads in the Gomoa West District has remain in disrepair and he does not understands why they have been neglected in terms of development.

Obrempong Nyanful Krampah XI vehemently lamented that, "lack of social amenities bitterly hindering the progress of Gomoa West District of the Central region and the government and Minister for Roads and Highways shouldn't forget we are also Ghanaians."

He noted said, roads in the area are not motorable and always poses a threat to the lives of the commuters, adding that it requires immediate attention to reduce road fatalities.

Obrempong Nyanful Krampah XI, the Paramount Chief of Gomoa Ajumako Traditional Council also called on the government to work tirelessly to address the economic challenges. 

He expressed displeasure that, "prompt and involve Nananom during decision making and developmental project for an area because we are also part and parcel of development in collaboration with the Assembly."

The Paramount Chief further urged his colleague chiefs to focus on education of the area and Ghana at large.

"Nananom, let education be the most priority in your area and question parents whose ward is found at a certain time."
