W/R: Father Shot His Final Year Son To Death

A final year student of Dikoto-Junction D/A Junior High School, popularly known in the area as Papa has met his untimely death.

The residents of Dikoto-Junction a suburb of Wassa Akropong in the Amenfi East District of the Western Region have expressed shock and are worried over the condition behind the whole issue that, Papa as popularly known, a 17-year-old boy was mistakenly shot by his father.

Speaking to AfricaNewsArenaGh's Asmah Manasseh Nyarkoh, the residents said,  the deceased went to the farm with his father, Mr Kwasi Affum for hunting and whilst shooting a wolf, he mistakenly shot his son, Papa who was also running after the wolf.

Some of the residents also made it clear that, they have never seen the victim, Kwesi Affum, the father of the deceased with a gun before so they wonder what came into his mind to go to the farm with the gun. 

The deceased has been conveyed to Wassa Akropong Mortuary and the father at Police custody for further investigations.
