E-Levy Has Shaped MTN Mobile Money Transactions - Snr. Manager

 
The Senior Manager of MTN in Charge of Central and Western regions, Mr. Prince Owusu Nyarko has announced that "E-Levy has shaped MTN Mobile Money (MoMo) transactions".

He disclosed that MTN Mobile Money Limited has reduced charges on Mobile Money transactions, citing that, "if you send Gh¢1,000 you will only pay Gh¢7.5p as Mobile Money charges instead of Gh¢10".

Mr. Owusu Nyarko dropped this hint during the launch of the MTN Mobile Money Month at Mankissm which was well attended by regulators, partner banks, distributors, Subscribers, agents among others.
It was held with the theme "Accelerating Growth in digital payments: the role of partnership".

Mr. Nyarko also encouraged the general public to use their Mobile Money wallet despite the introduction of E-Levy to help them make their transactions easy.
He further appealed to the general public especially regulators, distributors, partner banks, Subscribers, Agents and Merchants to join hands to make MoMo attractive.

Mr. Owusu Nyarko disclosed that MTN had instituted promotions for the people to transact and win and called on all MoMo users to continue to send money as well as make payments to enable them win rewards from the MTN Mobile Money Limited.
