C/R: Astute Journalist Mourns Mother After Painful Exit


Central Region's one most sort after seasoned journalist, Samuel Nana Tawiah who has for the passed 20years contributed massively his quoiter into the development of the region in his profession as a journalist last week woke up from the wrong side of his bed as his eyes turned to behold non other than the death of his beloved mother Obaapanyin Aba Mansa, aged 93.

The deceased who following her death left over nine (9) children of which Nana Tawiah happens to be the youngest, equally left over Thirty Two (32) grand children and a great grand children of fourteen (14).

Born and natured in Kwaprow (Cape Coast), the industrious woman who defined all odds to see her son Nana Tawiah become the responsible man she so desired couldn't live a bit longer to enjoy the fruit of her labour as the journalist wished for, only to be curried away by the cold hands of death.

The Journalist who has under his sleeves a 23year working experience having had stints with reputable media firms like Elmina based Ahomka FM, Coastal FM (Mankessim) Kyzz FM (Tarkoradi-Western Region), Obrumankoma FM (Mankessim), Benya FM (Elmina) and a host other currently work as the Central Regional correspondent for Accra based Class Media Group (which encompasses; Accra FM, No1 FM, Class FM and Class TV), Kumasi based Kessben FM and TV and then also Accra based Power FM and TV XYZ.

Meanwhile a week observation of the death of Obaapanyin Mansa is therefore scheduled to hold on Sunday, 7th August at the Kwaprow Old Community Centre situated within the Cape Coast North Constituency at exactly 12pm in the afternoon as all loved ones and sympathizers are cordially invited.
