VIDEO: Chaos On Campus As Students Of College Of Health Crash Over SRC Elections

The College Of Health and Well-Being, Kintampo was thrown into a state of utter chaos as the institution’s Students Representative Committee (SRC) elections practically turned into violence.

Footages seen by AfricaNewsArenaGh.com show students tussling at one another in the hours of Friday between 1pm to 4pm.

The fight reportedly started after a misunderstanding during the elections on Friday, July 5, 2022 where supporters of both candidates were gathered raised an alarm of the electronic system been hacked, other complaints were delayed in receiving their code for voting and also received codes are being used by another person.

Amid singing and chanting in anticipation, the supporters clashed, resulting in violence.

Due to the nature of the clash, the police were called to help maintain sanity.

Meanwhile, Philip Babyubaba, Kluivert Owusu Sekyere, Kwakye Atta Senior, Nana Pokuacquah Frimpong and Da'ud Aisha have been declared winners of Kintampo College Of Health SRC election.
