RESIDENTS OF EKUMFI OTUAM WORRIED OVER DILAPIDATED TOILET FACILITY

The residents of Ekumfi Otuam in the Ekumfi District of Central Region are bitterly crying to their leaders and elders  over the deplorable state of their toilet facility which is tarnishing the good name of the town. They urged that, the community has only one toilet facility which is at the center of the town at Sister Efia's residence.

The hometown of the Late President, Professor John Evans Fiifi Atta Mills cries a lot for development. Stressing in an interview, if a stranger comes to the town and asks for public toilet to ease him or herself becomes a challenge to even show them. "We feel shy to meet boys and girls at same toilet seat", residents lamented.

'The community toilet facility at Sister Efia's residence needs total renovation and stop collecting unnecessary money from her'

They are appealing to the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, assembly members, Member of Parliament, Hon Abeiku Crentsil and other entities to rise and create more job opportunities for Otuam youths.

'Due to unemployment disease, teenage pregnancy is the only food we face in the community'.
