Manager for the Central Regional Catholic Schools, Madam Diana Quao Osei Adusah has unequivocally bemoaned the lackadaisically adopted attitude in the country's vocational students to wait and seek for white-colour jobs without putting into practice the knowledge acquired in their respective institutions to becoming a boss of their own.

She highlighted that at times finds it difficult to understand when ladies in particular complains they're no jobs in the country.

Adding that women as compared to men with regards to employment stands tall in getting themselves employed, as a lady can sell just pure water or rice and stew to get herself freed from the shakles of unemployment, as same can't be said of their compatriot gentlemen.

She remarked all these at the graduation and exhibition ceremony by the St. Mary's Vocational Centre in Elmina.

"I get extremely surprise when we as women complain there are no jobs in the system, because a lady's way of getting employed ranges in various ways. As God being so good we women can sell ordinary pure water or rice and stew as our occupation, unlike the men who's employment are a bit difficult. Hence you girls are encouraged to go out there, put your acquired vocational stills into practice and be the bosses of your own," Madam Diana Osei Adusah told the graduates as cited.

Speaking after the program to Accra-UK based Rainbow Radio reporter Eric Annan, the school's Head of Education who equally doubles as the Councellor of Education for the school's congregation in Africa, Rev. Sis. Georgina Ofori-Kyei also took out time to caution the country, most especially parents to place steadying value on vocational and technical education, as it is the backbone of every country in terms of development.
