"Fasten Your Belts For The Wrath Of Nana Benyin" - Nana Amua ll To Illegal Buyers Of Mankessim Lands

                            Nana Amua ll

Gyaasehen for the Mankessim Nkusukum Amansi Obaatan Division, Nana Amua ll has thrown some words of alertness to persons who have through inappropriate means acquired lands within the Mankessim enclave to get prepared to face the unflinching might of Nana Benyin lll, Chief for the aforementioned chieftaincy division.

The Gyaasehen in his submissions fingered out one Mr. Isaac Ofori Manu, widely known to be Kweku Ofori who uncustomarily parades himself as Abusuapanyin of the Twidan Royal Family of Mankessim. And as such has been leveraging upon the said title to dubiously sell off lands to some unidentified individuals within the town.

The subchief who in his address to Sompa News expressed peevedness, used the medium to tell every individual who has fallen prey to the deception nature of Kweku Ofori to purchase any land whatsoever from him to hurriedly run after him and collect his/her money because such individual has been duped by the impersonator.

He however stressed that the family has itself enacted one Mr. Solomon Ato Budu-Hagan of the Ghana Broadcasting Co-orperation (GBC) Kumasi branch as its Abusuapanyin and not Kweku Ofori.

Speaking in an interview to Sompa FM/TV reporter Eric Annan, Nana Amua ll said that anyone who has bought a land through Kweku Ofori and his accomplice brothers Ato Chinam, Ekow Mensah and Co should harstly go for his money because they the family will surely come for such lands. Adding that such defrauded persons can take their matter to any length they deem fit to reclaim their money from these gentlemen and will surely receive the full backing of Nana Benyin lll.

Nana Amua ll on the other hand touched on the worrying situation happening at the Mankessim market where traders are often fined huge amount of monies for breaching market rules, others made to kneel and crawl as new traders at the hub are equally charged some stipulated amount of Gh¢1,000 and GH¢1,500 as "amma tem sika" which translates "money for late coming" into the market to sell by the Mankessim Traders Association.

He on that note sounded a strong word of caution to the association and any personality who hails him/herself within the market as their head to as a matter of urgency desist from such act because the market as at its inception is free to all traders to come and sell. Stressing that no individual within the market is customarily obliged to give out any portion of the market lands or deprive one from selling at the market without the knowledge of Nana Benyin lll.
