Crowned King of Igbo community in Ghana, His Royal Majesty Dr. Eze Ambassador Chukwudi Ihenetu has unequivocally said that one should flee from any country or community which has no Igbo man living as a migrant, saying such a place is not worth living.
According to him said that God in his indefinite mercies has deposited in they Igbos the might to cause a sudden stir wherever they're honoured to make a stay.
He remarked this at Biriwa, a suburb of the Mfantseman Municipality in the Central Region where his Ghanaian wife, Nana Ekua Tsetsewa l was crowned the Mpuntuhemaa of the small township whereas the community earmarked its 2022 Biriwa Okyir Festival.
Addressing the good people of Biriwa alongside his fellow Igbo Queens and Chiefs who had travelled both far and near to witness the glorious occasion, the Ghanaian based Igbo King appreciated the country for blessing him with a virtuous woman. One he terms the best wife in the entire world.
Speaking to Accra-UK based Rainbow Radio reporter Eric Annan at the event grounds, encouraged Ghanaian male borns to equally follow suit and unit with the Nigerian community by intermarrying their daughters as well. Adding that they Igbos will always like to make everywhere they go conducive enough for one to live, that's why they see the world as a global village for every Igbo man.
He however noted out to Ghanaians that as he's privileged to marry its proud daughter as spouse, assures they Igbos will keep to the task to treat their Ghanaian wives good and with the outmost respect they so deserve.
The party (Nigerians) according to the Igbo King has been attending the Biriwa Okyir Festival in the last 24years since his union to his Ghanaian wife Nana Ekua Tsetsewa.
Mpuntuhen of the fishing community, Nana Kojo Akwa-Djan l wasn't left out of the equation, as he speaking to Rainbow News pointed out to the youths to be wary of the rampant rise of sexually transmitted diseases like HIV/AIDS, gonorrhea, syphilis among other as they celebrate the Biriwa Okyir Festival 2022.
