Render An Unqualified Apology Coupled With An Immediate Retraction Or Face Our Lawyers - AfricaNewsArenaGh To Mfantseman NPP Communication Directorate Over Defamatory Press Release

Following a press release issued on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 by the Communication Directorate of the Mfantseman New Patriotic Party, the Management of AfricaNewsArenaGh.com News Portal is disgusted and appalled by the Communication Directorate's discriminatory statements that pitched more shocked by the unrepentant expression of lack of remorse in the face of the massive expressions of disappointment at the divisive statement is on a quest to damage for the restoration of the lost reputation of the site and that of its Content Editor who doubles as Accra-UK based Rainbow Radio Central Regional Correspondent, Mr. Eric Annan.

We cannot condone such statements and condemn that in no uncertain terms as unbefitting of an envoy.

We also condemn the statement made by the Communication Directorate NPP Mfantseman Constituency.

We hereby demand for an unqualified apology to be published in the national newspapers and online media for the appalling statement expressing lack of remorse; 

"We are by this release calling on all well meaning Ghanaians and citizens of Mfantseman to treat the publication on Africanewsarenagh.com with the utmost contempt it deserves. It is a figment of imagination of the reporter as our checks with the Chief indicates a total denial of the words of the reporter," Communication Directorate of the Mfantseman New Patriotic Party stated in a release.

We call on the NPP Communication Directorate to denounce the statement, and demand for a full retraction and apology.

As if the Communication Directorate of the NPP Mfantseman Constituency should fail or refuse to adhere to this directive, then will ginger us to respectfully and humbly call on our Legal Team to take the case on.

RE: Ankaful-Saltpond: Not a Single Developmental Project Can This NPP Government Point onto in My Community - Chief Shares Frustration

The Communication Directorate of the Mfantseman New Patriotic Party has noted with grave concern a reportage by an Accra-UK based Rainbow Radio reporter Eric Annan in an interview with Nana Kwame Ntsiful V, the Odikro of Ankaful published on 29th August, 2022 via africanewsarenagh.com.

Among the many falsehood peddled by the reporter as excerpts of his interview with Nana Kwame Ntsiful V is that "the current NPP as a political party cannot point onto a single project in the community as their own, as even common premix revenue due the community which is meant for developmental works has for a long time now been taken upon by only God knows who, as all our efforts in reclaiming this money having issued out series of letters to the Regional Directorate all turned futile."

The NPP in Mfantseman finds this quite shocking as there is an abundance of evidence at Ankaful - Saltpond that makes these statements palpable falsehoods.

For the records, the NPP has since 2017  initiated the following projects in Ankaful - Saltpond and these are verifiable by all:

1. A 6 unit classroom block funded by GNPC to be used as a primary school. (Surprisingly Ankaful which continues to be a stronghold of the NDC has been without a school for all these years until the current NPP government came into office)

2. 240 dual desks (40 per classroom) to be used by the yet to be commissioned school.(It is instructive to note that these 240 desks are currently in the custody of the Chief at Ankaful).

3. A 10 seater W/C toilet facility for the community. 

4. A 3 unit classroom block to be used as a JHS block is also ongoing and it's been funded by the Premix Committee of Ankaful. 

5. Hon. Ophelia Mensah Hayford has through the GOG secured funding for the construction of the Ankaful - Kuntu - Anokyi road project and the Contractor is expected to move to  site soon.
