Atlantic Lithium Donates Gh¢3,000 Cash To Anaafo Akwambo Festival Planning Committee


The Anaafo Akwambo Festival Planning Committee has received an amount of Gh¢3,000 from Atlantic Lithium as part of its corporate social responsibilities to this year's annual celebration.

The contribution by the Atlantic Lithium is an effort to support the Akwambo Festival celebrated by the good people of Anaafo, a suburb of Mankessim in the Mfantseman Municipality of the Central region as a cash donation of Gh¢3,000 was presented to the Festival Planning Committee. 

This is in support of the role Atlantic Lithium plays in developing the socio-economic status of the communities in which it operates as a mineral exploration company exploring for lithium bearing rocks, and as the world goes green, lithium is growing in value and the demand for electric vehicles and the electrification of infrastructure is increasing the demand for lithium.

Speaking to AfricaNewsArenaGh's Adom Nanaa Odiasempa Savvy in an interview on behalf of the Festival's Planning Committee, the Nkyidomhen of Mankessim Traditional Area, Nana Kwaa Annan IX expressed gratitude and called on the management of Atlantic Lithium to tighten their relationship with Nananom and called on them also to give slots to the Nananom if there is a vacancy for immediate employment.

Reaching the Consulting Geologist for the Atlantic Lithium, Mr. Eric Quarshie on behalf of the company thanked the Festival Planning Committee for being part of this year's annual festival celebrations, and in response to the request emphasized that, "most of the workers are locally based people within the Mfantseman Municipality and its environs. 
Nananom, we always appreciate your effort and the request shall be delivered to the management."
