"We Lack Development Due To Chieftaincy Litigation" - Residents Lament

Residents of Nkotumso—Nkasawura Community in the Upper Denkyira West Disrict in the Central Region have registered their displeasure over low pace of development due to long standing chieftaincy litigation for eleven years  tarnishing the image of the community.

Speaking to AfricaNewsArenaGh's Jerry Asare in an interview, the Elder of the community, Opanyin Kofi Addy on issues at stake centered on Government and National House of Chiefs to give directives.

"The Central Regional House of Chiefs and Denkyira Traditional Council to fast track the Chieftaincy litigation at Nkotumso—Nkasawura Community for development to be prevail."

He therefore accounts on robbery case, teenage pregnancy issues, galamsey operation due to the fact that there is no Chief to spearhead the community.
 
Reaching some of the residents of the Community also shared their ordeal to the Jerry Asare concerning the Chieftaincy litigation tarnishing the image of the community especially security.
