C/R: Access Insurance Scheme For Better Healthcare Delivery - Director

Mr Kenneth Acquah Bentsil

District Director of the National Health Insurance Scheme for Assin South District in the Central Region, Mr Kenneth Acquah Bentsil has urged the good people of District to register with the scheme to get proper access to better Healthcare delivery to save monies and lives.

Speaking at the stakeholders engagement at Assin Manso to strengthen the membership drive of the scheme and new packages introduce to the beneficiaries such as childhood cancer and family planning which is making the scheme attractive, Mr Kenneth Acquah Bentsil lamented on the access to network and poor roads hindering their services rendering to remote communities in the district.

Speaking to AfricaNewsArenaGh's Jerry Asare in an interview, the Regional Director of National Health Insurance Authority, Mr Fred Appiah outlined the need to link up the NHIS Card to Ghana Card which the providers will benefits from the scheme and to achieve universal healthcare by the year 2030.
