Following Kasoa's unpleasant hit taken recently on the grounds of atrocious deeds widely circulated to have been happening within the business town has forced the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Awutu Senya East constituency, within which the township resides to voice out her displeasure towards the situation.
The MCE, Hon. Anita Love Obo Amissah speaking in an interview to Accra-UK based Rainbow Radio's Central Regional correspondent Eric Annan chide Kasoa as a community in present day is suffering from many accusations it mostly knows nothing of, as she remarked this is because most communities within neighbouring constituencies to Awutu Senya East have so developed to reach Kasoa on the runway.
"Surrounding boundaries to my District often at times creates issues for us, as most atrocious deeds that takes place within such boundaries when reporting are mostly reported to have taken place in Kasoa which most atimes upon investigating finds out it's not Kasoa."
"Meanwhile consultations regarding the matter as to how to curb it is ongoing as I've had the opportunity to speak to my colleagues of the Ga South Constituency, Gomoa East and the Ewutu Senya West Constituencies who presides over these bordering locations."
"People many at times when hear of Kasoa presume the community to have a very porous security, therefore makes it an unsafe place for one to live, which is false because the community since the latter part of last year, about eight (8) to nine (9) months now have been enjoyed a very peaceful atmosphere all thanks to the existance of the Central Regional East Command," the trained teacher by profession now turned Honorable MCE notified.
Moreover the assembly's office is situated within Kasoa.
