Canada Day Celebrants Donates To Klick Africa Foundation

The GhanaFest Toronto following its recently earmarked Canada Day held in Accra dubbed "Canada In Accra" has grind on the opportunity to donate assorted items to struggling Klicks Africa Foundation, a non profitable school which is established to help young people leaving with Autism.

The glittery event which kicked off with a flag hoisting activity took place at the Mövenpick Ambassador Hotel in Accra.

The foundation (Klicks Africa Foundation) whose vision is to help revive young adults living with Autism and other intellectual disabilities currently sits on strive to reach its full potentials.

The event, Canada Day is celebrated in remembrance of country Canada and the day it ascertained its total liberty from colonial masters some 155 years ago, thereby becoming a self owed federation with its own governing constitution in July 1, 1867 and signing on to the Constitution Act, which was known previously to be the British North America Act.

The donation however was done by the Elders of Ghanafest Toronto to commemorate the Canada Day celebration.

Meanwhile, well acclaimed Ghanaian disc jockey, DJ Mensah together with DJ Andy Dosty who formed part of the donation team admonished to Klicks Africa Foundation;

"We've taken notice of the wonderful work you have been doing to support these our dear younger ones. We've found out the school is in dying need of certain key things we (GhanaFest Toronto) in our small way can support you with and by the Grace of God we've been able to acquire these items today being the Canada Day and chose to donation them today."

Moreover, Madam Mary Amoah Kuffour who happens to be Co-founder to Klicks Africa Foundation notified her heartfelt appreciation and expressed their doors are ever ready and opened to the general public, hence all organization and individuals are welcome to be of help to the foundation and can seize on that opportunity to equally know and learn more on Autistic Beings, adding that some of these kids needs nothing much but regular love and exposure to the environments in order to cope.
