As many as three foreign-born players will conclude the process of switching nationality to become eligible to play for Ghana’s Black Stars by the close of next week.
The national team of the West African country in the past year has been exposed to having a very weak team that is unable to compete.
In a bid to bolster the squad of the national team, the Ghana FA in the last few months has been engaging players born abroad but of Ghanaian descent to switch and play for the country.
Your most trusted Ghanaian football online portal can report that three of the players are on the verge of completing the process.
FIFA will next week give clearance to Eddie Nketiah, Tariq Lamptey, and Nico Williams to be able to play for Ghana.
Meanwhile, talks are ongoing for Callum Hudson-Odoi and Stephen Ambrosius to also complete their switch.
While the switch could happen faster for Ambrosius, Odoi will have to wait until September.
