C/R: Police Officers Schooled On Insurance Policies In A Two Day Capacity Building And Training Program By NIC

The Central Regional police command has relayed its outmost gratitude to the National Insurance Company (NIC) following it's capacity building training on insurance policies held at the Police's Regional Headquarters in Pedu (Cape Coast) on Thursday, June 9,2022.

The program which was organized to some selected police officers from various divisions within the region was targeted at enlightening these officers' knowledge in Insurance policies, most especially on motor insurance.

The well acclaimed insurance firm NIC, which has under it's sleeves over 3 decades working and operational experience has had it's branches spread across Ghana's initially recognized 10 main regions, having had the company initially established under the Insurance Law 1989 (PNDC Law 227), but now operates under the Insurance Act 2021 (Act 1061).

The highly impactful and glittery training program to the police, saw dignified personalities in the shape of the Central Regional Motor Transport and Traffic Directorate (MTTD) Commander Mr. Albert Fii Ochii, NIC Central Regional Director Madam Nicholina Naa Yeye Adumuah, the Central Regional Police Commander, a rep from the Region's Fire Service Command, the Central Regional National Road Safety Authority (NRSA) Boss, and the NIC Commissioner all in attendance to support the program with their respective expertise.

Speaking at the program's opening ceremony, DCOP Alexander K. Amenyo, the current Central Regional Police Commander told these selected police officers to count themselves lucky to be invited to such an impactful career program in their role as officers during their visitations to accident scenes.

The two day sensatization training which commenced today, has on it's program itinerary scheduled to hold on both 9th and 10th of June,2022.
