C/R: Man Killed And Dumped Into Water At Mankessim

A man believed to be in his 30 years has been dumped into stagnant water at Mankessim in the Mfantseman Municipality of the Central Region.

 

Information gathered stated that, the deceased has not been identified in the Twafo-Ahenbrom Electoral Area. It has been counted by AfricaNewsArenaGh.com that, this is the 4th time that people are being killed at Mankessim.

The Assembly Member for Kessim-Ahenborm Electoral Area, Mr Moutal Alhassan Arthur who shared same territory stated that, he was called by someone on phone confirming that someone is suspected to have been killed and dumped into a stagnant water at Twafo suburb metro at Mankessim. He continued that, the man is suspected to be in his 30 years and no one in the area has confirmed to have known the deceased.

Reaching Hon. Bullet the Assembly Member for Twafo-Ahenbrom Electoral Area also shared his thought on the side of the story and said, the youth at Mankessim should be extra careful and pleaded to do the needful that will not create harm in the future. 

He urged the youth to search for good work that can earn them a living and stop living wayward.

Adding that, "this same town had the same scene at one of the Electoral Area and they need police assistance and a watchdog committee as a matter of urgency to strengthen the security forces at Mfantseman municipal to curb this indecent acts at Mankessim.

Some of the residents also lamented that they are in fear of the rampant killing acts for the past two weeks. "We can't go to church or send our children on errands."

The body has been deposited at the Municipal Government Hospital Mortuary at Saltpond as the police have launched an investigation into the matter.
