Oliver Barker-Vormawor, The Convenor of the FixTheCountry Movement
Convenor of the FixTheCountry Movement, Oliver Mawuse Barker-Vormawor, is expected to appear in court today, after his arrest by police, last Friday.
He was arrested by the Tema Regional Police Command, in connecting with a post he allegedly made on social media that he would stage a coup if the E-Levy was passed by Parliament.
The post, according to a statement signed by the Director General of Public Affairs of the Ghana Police Service, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), Kwesi Ofori, issued on Saturday in Accra contained a clear statement of intent with a possible will to execute a coup.
