Astute GFA Match Commissioner Dies At Age 71

Volta Regional Football Association’s (VRFA) Referee Manager and Match Commissioner, Frank Denakpor has died at age 71.

The astute match official will be laid to rest on the weekend of February 12, 2022, in Ho, the Volta Regional capital.

His commitment to football spans several years. As he was the leader of the Volta Regional Match Commissioners.

Frank Denakpor was highly respected among his colleagues and other connoisseurs of the game that it earned him an additional duty as Vice Chairman of the Volta FA’s Disciplinary Committee.

Aside football, he was the former headmaster of the Mawuli Basic School and a native of Ho-Bankoe.
