"Stop Holding Yourself As A Chief" - Twafohen Urges

The Twafohen of Ekumfi Traditional Area,  Nana Impream (VIII) has debunked the claims of one Mr. Daniel Osea Asiahene for holding himself as a Chief of Ekumfi Eyisam in the Ekumfi Traditional Area of the Central Region.

The Ekumfi Twafo Division consist of four major towns which include: Ekumfi Eyisam, Abontsen, Engow and Ekumfi Dunkwa.

In a Press Conference organized by Ekumfi Twafo Divisional Chiefs and Elders at Ekumfi Eyisam, Nana Impream (VIII) revealed documents issued by the Judicial Committee of Ekumfi Traditional Council at its sitting held on the 7th July, 2020 at the Ekumfi Royal Palace Ebiram which state:

"The 1st Defendant is hereby restrained whether by himself, officers, servants, agents, privies or any of them from performing the function of a Chief and holding himself as a Chief of Ekumfi Eyisam."

According to Twafohen, Nana Impream (VIII), "anyone who claims to be the Chief of Ekumfi Eyisam is an imposter".

Speaking at the Press Conference, Twafohen emphasized that, ''the court has placed an interlocutory injunction on said Daniel Osea Asiahene, restraining him from performing the function as a Chief and holding himself as a Chief of Ekumfi Eyisam, hence the general public should disregard such claims".

In an interview with Ekumfi Twafo Supi, Supi Kofi Boakye Owusu Bentum, Regent Abontsen Nana Kweku Badu, Nana Kwesi Amoah V Odikro of Ekumfi Dunkwa, Openyin Kojo Afadze of Ekumfi Engow and the Elders of Ekumfi Twafo Division reiterated that, Nana Impream (VIII) is the Sustantive Chief they all know and they do not recognize any other person as the Chief Of Ekumfi Eyisam who doubles as Ekumfi Twafohen.
