RALLY: "Bosofour" Inflamed Youth Demands Chief To Strike Down Throne

A group called Concerned Youths of Bosofour Community(CYBC) ,a suburb of Mampong in the Ashanti region have threatened to demonstrate against the Chief of Bosofour Nana Danso Frimping and some other leaders in the Bosofour community following their failure in development.

According to the youth in a press release signed and presented by the president  Mr.Frank K. Boateng(president) the chief Nana Danso Frimpong should humbly vacate the throne to a well competent person since he has exhibited gross incompetent leadership skills which have crippled the development of Bosofour community.

“We can no more afford to have him as a chief because we are suffering from his reckless leadership. We hold a strong view that Nana Frimpong Danso cannot administer the affairs of Bosofour community effectively and so, continue to rule the community will further deepen the misery. We do not want this incompetence and recklessness leadership any more”, they charged

They further added that they are intend to do peaceful demonstration because they see it as the most effective tool in democratic state like Ghana to publicly express our hope, aspiration and disagreement with our leaders and representatives.

“The leadership style of Nana Danso Frimpong is found to be cruel and disrespect to the good people of Bosofour and this has prompted us to stage a peaceful demonstration against him. Since Nana Danso was enstooled in the year 2000, he has shown very little or no concern to the development of Bosofour community. The persistence plea and complaints to the Chief have fallen to his deaf ears. He pays no attention to our grievances. The development of Bosofour community is not part of his business,” they said

The concern group further added that “Being an expatriate Chief, who lives in U.S.A, he often comes home once in a blue moon and pays no attention to the developmental business of the town. He does not even bother to walk in the streets of the town to inspect what is going on. He has since refused to organize town hall meeting to meet the natives of Bosofour any times he returns from US. We do not remember the last time he and his cabinet read the statement of accountability to the natives of Bosofour community and, we see this as an insult, disrespect, cruel and atrocity. We can no more hold fire. It is time to spit fire and keep him on his right toes; as concerned youths.

“He has rather unlawfully engaged in indiscriminate selling of the lands in Bosofour community without the consent of the landlords. The most dangerous issue associated with his leadership which seems to breed tension in the community, if immediate care is not taken is that he has violated his own traditional bye laws which demands that landlords should be giving one-third of a building plot anytime he (Nana Danso) sells one (1) acre of a land. Recently, there was a crash between Antwi Aduana family of Bosofour and Nana Danso Frimpong when the family approached him to demand for their land compensation after he (Nana Danso) has sold their twenty (20) acres of land in six (6) years ago. The step son and daughter of Nana Frimpong took advantage and beat the delegates of Antwi Aduana family”, they statement  revealed.
