Popular Kumawood actor, Bill Asamoah has advised the students of Oxford Institute of Business and Journalism (O. I. B. J) to disregard the claim that acting as a career is only for the dropouts.
This statement he disclosed was in his encounter with the students yesterday at the school premises following the Administration's motive of reshaping the acting programme in the school.
According to a reporter of 24 Hours Media group Ltd, Acquah Solomon Kobina, the Kumawood actor further advised that irrespective the kind a person is, whether being educated or not, one can become a great actor or personality in the Ghana Movie Industry.
"I came to the movie industry about twenty years ago with a heavy struggling but look at how far God has brought me and some of my colleagues ", he hinted.
Mr Asamoah added by saying that he joined Ogyatanaa fun club, Center for National Culture and others. Though he was not gaining any amount of money but he never gave up.
"Don't think about money but what you can bring out, your acting ends when you start acting, have discipline as a chosen career because it is the acting that is feeding my family now", He revealed.
