Hon. McJewells Annan is a well learned Ghanaian political figure who's widely respected and known for his exploit in Governance, Democracy, Law and Conflict Resolution expertise, having had his formal educational training in four(4) different Universities and has since spent most of his years working as Ghana's parliamentary ombudsman and local governance expert since 1995.

Mr. McJewells Annan is a former District Chief Executive (DCE) for the good people of Gomoa East, after rambling through alot in the political landscape to ascertain that height as a DCE.

His work as ombudsman currently sees him as the ruling New Patriotic Party's (NPP) longest serving parliamentary ombudsman.

Hon. McJewells, a staunch NPP member who got affiliated to the political party in the early 90's.

His love for the party and desire for a better Ghana has led him to currently vie to be voted in as the party's National 2nd Vice Chairman, having graduated through the political ranks of once been a Unit Committee Member (Gomoa Fetteh), Elected Area Council Chairman (Fetter/Ojobi Council), Elected Assembly member (Fetteh Electoral Area), Gomoa Fetteh NPP Secretary (1996), Ex-DCE Gomoa East Assembly, and currently the General Secretary for Ex-Parliamentary Staff Association of Ghana.

He is the only aspirant who toured all constituencies after the 2008-2012 elections and did an empirical survey to determine why his outfit NPP lost. Do you know McJewells is the only aspirant who have worked with all opposition, National Democratic Congress (NDC) Members of Parliament (MPs) and interacted with them to know their modus operandi from 1995 to date. He's as well the only person who got the opportunity to interact with both the NDC and NPP elected and defeated MPs as a parliamentary staff and technocrats.

During the presidential petition, McJewells volunteered and attended all sittings and presented copies of the ruling to Chairman Kutin and Kwamina Duncan.
