Ekumfi MP Donates Trunks, Chop Boxes And Provisions To Best 100 BECE Candidates

Member of Parliament for Ekumfi constituency, Honourable Abeiku Crentsil as part of his social corporate responsibility has donated trunks and chop boxes to some selected Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates in the district based on merit with cut off points from grade 6 to 15 for Private Schools and grade 6 to 20 for the Public Schools.

Hundred (100) trunks and 100 student wooden chop boxes filled with provisions were presented to the best hundred BECE candidates within Ekumfi District in the Central region.

In an interview with AfricaNewsArenaGh.com, the MP for Ekumfi Mr. Abeiku Crentsil revealed his commitment to the education sector and future leaders as the donation shall serve as motivation and encouragement for the beneficiaries and other students.

He promised to pay a courtesy visit to the beneficiaries on regular basis.

The list of the best students across the district upon which the initiative hinged was generated by the Education Directorate through the various Headteachers who presented their best students. In all these, almost every community within the district was captured making the initiative a success and a welcoming one in scope.

Reaching some of the parents and students, they expressed their heartfelt appreciation to the Honourable Member of Parliament for such a kind gesture and assured to deliver to expectations.
