"Report Any Person Who Play Down With Your Disability To Us" - Chief Calls On GFDA

The Chief of Abura Dunkwa in the Abura Asebu Kwamankese (AAK) constituency of the Central region, Nana Asokwa Kwegyir II, has made a passionate appeal calling on the Ghana Federation of Disability Association (GFDA) in the district to report any person or persons who try to play down with their disability.

This statement he made was at a short event where the Former Member of Parliament (MP) aspirant during the 2019 National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Primaries, Honourable Amos Fiifi Arhin organized a get together party and donated items to over 400 physical disabilities and visually impaired persons in the constituency.

Nana Kwegyir II disclosed that, the GFDA should "report any person or persons who in one way or other try to play down with your disability to be dealt with. The Chiefs of Abura Asebu Kwamankese Traditional Area has lay down by-laws fighting for the right and freedom of physical disabilities and visually impaired persons."

The items which was donated at the get together party include cooking oil and other assorted food items, a quantified sealed amount of a white envelope which was not made known, among others.

Hon. Amos Fiifi Arhin in speech also called on the communities not to demoralize the beneficiaries but embolden them to achieve a better lives.

Some of the beneficiaries further thanked the donor (Mr Amos Fiifi Arhin) for the thoughtfulness. Prayed to God to replenish his stock so they could come back another time to support the victims and help rebuild AAK and Ghana our motherland.
