OBAATAN OF NKUSUKUM TRADITIONAL AREA URGES RESIDENTS TO OBSERVE COVID-19 PROTOCOLS

Obaatan of Nkusukum Traditional Area, Nana Beenyi (III) has urged the residents of Mfantseman Municipality to observe the COVID-19 protocols in order to combat the spread of the virus

In his address, the Obaatan Division of the Nkusukum Traditional Area who doubles as the Head of the Obaatan Division, Nana Beenyi (III) also reiterated that, the new variant of the COVID-19 is more dangerous than that of the earlier.

Speaking to the media, the Obaatan of Nkusukum Traditional Area, Nana Beenyi (III) appealed to the people of the Traditional Area, especially traders who come to Mankessim to observe the COVID-19 protocols to get rid of this virus.

He debunked that the disease is not for the rich and the people in the cities, hence be protected.

Nana Beenyi (III) advised that, everyone should help educate those who do not wear the nose mask because when one is affected, it is likely for others to contract it.

Obaatan of Nkusukum Traditional Area also said, the Delta Variant of COVID-19 is not a joke so the washing of hands should be carried out.
