The Queen mother for Ekumfi Swedru and Abor in the Ekumfi District of the Central Region, Nana Adwoa Enyinfuaa III and Nana Araba Ahinfowa, respectively, have donated some educative and protective materials to the Ekumfi Swedru and Akwakrom Basic Schools in the District.
The items include, packs of sanitary pads, mathematical sets and some pairs of shoes for those who are vulnerable in the school.

Moreover, I am looking forward to establish Girl Child Education Foundation to teach the females by creating awareness on how to protect themselves from teenage pregnancy and also to start an NGO to help the girls at Ekumfi in their education", Nana Enyinfuaa III emphasized.
The Queen mother for Ekumfi Abor, Nana Araba Ahinfowa III also supported the donation and also stressed that, the students must "eschew teenage pregnancies even if a teacher tells them and has promised to introduce "Time With Grandmaa", She revealed
The teachers also showed acknowledgement and thanked the Queen mothers for such kind gesture, an unexpected visitation and promised to use the instruments profitably.
The students on the on other hand also pleaded to the Queen mothers, His Excellency, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and other corperate bodies to assist them with computers.
