C/R: Suspect Who Inflicts Cutlass Wounds On Couple Dies

A suspected man who inflicted cutlass wounds on a couple with multiple deep cuts at Abakrampah in the Abura Asebu Kwamankese District of the Central Region has died. 

Sources confirmed to AfricaNewsArenaGh's Adom Nanaa Odiasempa Paa Solo Savvy that, the suspect (name unknown) who has been allegedly accused of inflicting cutlass wounds on the aged couple, Sister Esi and Uncle Ato as known in the area gave up the ghost Monday afternoon before his arrival at the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital.

According to our sources, the cause of his dead is yet to be known following police investigations and autopsy.

Background:

A man believed to be in his late 30s has inflicted cutlass wounds on a couple with multiple deep cuts at Abakrampah in the Abura Asebu Kwamankese District of the Central Region.

The victims, Sister Esi and Uncle Ato as popularly known in the area are suspected to have been in their 60s were conveyed to the Abura Dunkwa Government Hospital for treatment but were later transferred to the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital.

The incident happened Monday, November 7, 2022 in the morning around 7am.

What actually made the victims wounded is yet to be investigated according to the police.

Meanwhile, report gathered by AfricaNewsArenaGh's Adom Nanaa Odiasempa Savvy according to the eyewitnesses indicates that, the suspect was seen at the couple's house destroying properties worth millions of cedis which led to an exchange of words harshly on each other in which the suspect inflicted multiple deep wounds on the two aged, Sister Esi and Uncle Ato with a machete.

Meanwhile, the police in the Central Region have started investigating the matter.
