C/R: Washed Away Guy At Anomabo Seashore Never Went To Defecate But To Swim - Saanahen Rubbishes False Claim

Acting President and Saanahen for the Anomabo Traditional Area, Nana Egyir Aggrey l has vehemently rubbished widely circulating reportage of the young man who's featured to meet his untimely death last Saturday at Anomabo in the Mfantseman Municipality while trying to go defecate at the community's seashore during their held Okyir festival as total lies.

The washed away body of the gentleman which indigenes of the Anomabo community has sort after for three (3) days following a series of libations poured, per information gathered by Sompa News can confidently reveal has been retrieved at the shores of Abandze, two towns after Anomabo.

Meanwhile, detailed information regarding the deceased's name and actual age is yet to be made public, as the case is still in the hands of the Anomabo Police command.

The deceased who earlier reports depicted him to be a stranger at the community but had gone to celebrate the Anomabo Okyir Festival according to the town's Saanahen is said to hail from Akwapem Akropong in the Eastern Region where himself concurrently is their Mawrehen.

Family of the deceased from Akropong has however come for the retrieved worn-out body of their member which was later deposited at the Saltpond Government Hospital after its discovery in the late hours (evening) of Monday 11th October.

Speaking in a media engagement to Sompa FM/TV reporter Eric Annan, Nana Egyir Aggrey l on the already spread disturbing report debunked it saying, Anomabo as a fishing community aside its sea defence has as well put in place stringent measures to charge any person found culpable of defecating beside the sea to buy seven (7) bags of cements, hence deters its indigenes from committing such atrocity, how much more a right thinking individual like the deceased.

Nana Baffoe IV, Krotihen of Anomabo on the subject matter also made his voice heard, who gave a pictorial projection of the community's serene sanitation as one which is worth emulating, and consequently grinded on the opportunity to appeal to individuals who are not good at swimming to be wary of the act, as such persons who engage themselves in such act does so at their own risk.

The deceased is moreover said to be a drummer who occasionally escort some selected Chief and Queens of the Eastern Regional based community to the Okyir festival in honour of Nana Aggrey.
