C/R: Aborted Twins Dumped At Roadside

Residents of Abura Dunkwa in the Abura Asebu Kwamankese Constituency woke up to a heartbreaking news of twins dumped at roadside leading to Edumfa in the Cape Coast-Assin Fosu highway this morning.

The twins, believed to be aborted, they was covered with a white cloth and placed in a paper box when they were found around 19am.

A pedestrian using the stretch discovered the babies already dead and quickly blew the alarm, attracting scores of curious people in Abura Dunkwa to the scene.

Some of the people, especially the women, were seen shedding tears as they watched the innocent babies, lying motionless at the place.

It is not known whether the babies were still alive when they were dumped at the site or dead at the time of being abandoned at the location.

A section of the people at the scene were heard raining insults and curses on the woman responsible for the heartless act.

Abura Dunkwa Police has conveyed the bodies while an investigation has been launched, and assured that residents of Abura Dunkwa would do everything to find the culprit for the law to deal with her.
