A Ghanaian journalist, Mr Douglas Amponsah who is popularly known by many as Oyibo, the Central Regional Correspondent for Top FM who also doubles as the Morning Show Producer for Coastal 94.9FM at Mankessim has been thrown into a state of palpable shock after he lost his wife to the cold hands of death.
A report gathered by AfricaNewsArenaGh.com indicates that Mrs Theresah Amoah-Amponsah a.k.a Ama Adomaa passed away barely eleven days after labour.
Ama Adomaa's condition worsened a few minutes, forcing her husband to return her to the hospital.
In a rush to save her life, she was taken to the hospital to receive urgent medical assistance but was pronounced dead before her arrival.
Report revealed that, the unfortunate incident happened on Sunday, June 12, 2022 around midnight.
Reacting to the tragic news, devastated friends, family members and colleagues of the journalist have taken to social media to express their shock over the death and mourning.
The body had been conveyed to the Mortuary for preservation and autopsy.
