PEC Celebrates Father’s Day In Grand Style

The General Overseer of Power Evangelical Church (PEC), Rev. Osei Owusu Ansah and his congregation of the in Mankessim have celebrated this year's father's day in a grand style.

Father's Day is a holiday of honouring fatherhood and paternal bonds, as well as the influence of fathers in society. During this occasion, people portray love to their fathers. This father's day celebration is done once every year and this year's own occurred today, June 19, 2022. Though many people believe that father's day is not cherished by many as compared to mother's day by virtue of reasons.

During father's day celebration, people often use social media to show love to the people who have been a father to them. During this event, celebrities often take to their social media handles to eulogize and show love to their fathers.

Rev. Osei Owusu Ansah, the founder and leader of Power Evangelical Church in his speech stated that he believes it is the best time to appreciate men for their hard work and dedication to family. 

"Celebrating fathers has been put on the back burner for too long because in many homes the roles and sacrifices of fathers are taken for granted and this has to change," he charged.
