In an interview with Nana Amoasi VII, the Chief of Ekumfi Abor who doubles as the Chief of Staff for Ekumfi Traditional Area and Executive Director at the Institute for Energy Security (IES) revealed that, the initiative is a 5-year project themed: "22.27 Green Abor Campaign" (22.27 means 2022 to 2027) and the most exciting story is that, it has coincided with that of H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo initiative named Green Ghana.
The seedlings include Mango, Coconut, Orange, Mahogany, Cedrella, Ofram, Cassia among others are expected to be planted to regenerate the environment and the greens making sure it develops the heritage site as well as ornamental, fruits and medicinal values for the people of Ekumfi Abor, a community in the Ekumfi District of the Central region.
Nana Amoasi VII further expressed heartfelt appreciation to the organizers and sponsors of the project for making it a reality.

The Chairman for the Asikafo Amatem Progressive Association, Mr Richard Acquah further called on the philanthropists, non-governmental organizations and other benevolent individuals as part of their social corporate responsibility to support moving the agenda.
