Ekumfi MP Pay Courtesy Visit To Ekumfi Fruits And Juices Limited

Honourable Abeiku Crenstil, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Ekumfi Constituency in the Central Region of Ghana paid a courtesy visit to Ekumfi Fruits and Juices Limited at Ekumfi Nanabin. 

Speaking to the media, Mr. Crentsil in his address expressed gratitude on how he was received by the Staff and the size of the pineapple plantation.

He also encouraged them to continue the hard work. 

Mr. Frederick Kobbyna Acquaah, the Director of Operations of the Ekumfi Fruits and Juices Limited also expressed their heartfelt appreciation to the MP and President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for making One-District-One-Factory (1D1F) a reality at Ekumfi District. 

He also promised that, "we will work hard so as to lift the good name of the company, Ekumfi and Ghana at large."

Mr. Kankam Biney, the Director of Agronomist also took the MP and his executives around the farms and educate them on how the pineapples are being planted, the varieties in them and the size of the land as well. 

He further disclosed to the media the company's targets and what they have planted so far and what they want to achieve in the future as 12,000 acres of pineapple plantation are expected to develop for the factory.

Mr. Biney said, the company provides extended technical support for the farmers from land preparation to harvesting, and added that as part of the company’s quality control policy they get involved from the beginning to assure the quality of every pineapple that enters the company’s crusher.

The Ekumfi Fruits and Juices factory processes 100% natural juices in three great variants – Pineapple, Pine-Ginja and Pine-Tropic – under the brand names Ekumfi Pure Juice and Eku Juice.
