C/R: New Egudzihemaa Promises To Empower Women, Acquire Employable Skills, And End Teenage Pregnancy

The newly enstooled Egudzihemaa of the Kwamankese Traditional Area in Abura Asebu Kwamankese District, Nana Ekua Ogyadoom I has promised not to let the good and law abiding citizens of the area down.

The queen mother of Egudzi urged to empower women to acquire employable skills and also end teenage pregnancy in her district.

Speaking to AfricaNewsArenaGh's Agyei Kwaku Mensah after her enstoolment, Egudzihemaa of Kwamankese Traditional Area, Nana Ekua Ogyadoom I pledged her support for her people especially women, adding that her vision is to help women.

According to her, some have had the skills but how to get the materials and a place to start their business is the problem.

"I will make sure that, they are supported and empowered by acquiring employable skills, tools and materials that will enable them to work after their training."

Nana Ekua Ogyadoom I further promised also to help end teenage pregnancy in the area.

The Guantoahen of Kwamankese Traditional Area, Nana Nyarko Atta Peperku VII on his part pledges the support of the Chiefs to the new queen mother.

He added that, they have trust in her because she can do what she has pledged to do.

He also further called on the newly enstooled queen mother to have the courage to do what she can to help the area.
