Pitch Invader In Police Grip With Handcuffs During Hearts of Oak vs Karela GPL Clash

The Ghana Police Force at the Accra Sports Stadium arrested and handcuffed a pitch invader who interrupted the flow of the Ghana Premier League game between Hearts of Oak and Karela United on Monday afternoon.

The fan somehow gained entry into the inner perimeter and made his way straight to Karela United player where he acted like he was taking a selfie with him.

Hostilities were halted when players and match officials realised the arrival of the fan on the pitch.

The fan invaded the pitch to take a selfie with Karela United player Suraj, who was spotted wearing jersey number 36 around the 70th minute during the Ghana Premier League clash.

The security quickly reacted by rushing to the scene to arrest the fan and put him in handcuffs before escorting him out of the arena.
