Philanthropist Donates To Central Regional Police Command

The Chief Executive Officer for Sancotex Pharmacy and Durowaa Plus Hotel, Mr. Pius Boakye popularly known as "Papa Sanco" has donated two sets of brand new air conditioners to augment and congratulate the Police Command for their relentless effort in protecting its citizens against any evil on May 24, 2022.

Speaking in an interview with AfricaNewsArenaGh's Anaafi Kokooto, he said, the generous donation is purposely done to motivate the hard working Police personnel in the Central Region as a way of celebrating the fourteenth years of Sancotex Pharmacy one of his companies in Cape Coast.

He stressed that, being a philanthropist has been his mainstay for 14 years and has enlarged his territories to the Police Command to help them discharge their duties effectively.

Meanwhile, Central Regional Police Commander, DCOP Alex Kwame Amenyo in an interview with Anaafi Kokooto on behalf of the Police Command expressed sincere gratitude for the kind gesture.

He stressed that, fighting crime is a shared responsibility, therefore, urged the general public to support the police with information among others to help curb the crime rate in the region.

"You have to partner us with logistics so that we will be able to deliver and make sure Central Region continues to be a peaceful place," he pleaded.

Mr. Alex Amenyo then appealed to every individual to assist and support the police to protect lives which is one of their aims.
