The Central Regional Police Command has consoled with the bereaved family of the late Cape Coast Technical University level 300 student about the sudden demise of their daughter, Nana Ama Clark who was was killed by unknown assailants in Ola in the Cape Coast South Constituency of the Central region.
The Police Command led by the Regional Commander DCOP Alex Kwame Amenyo visited the family and assured them to keep calm as the police will try their possible best to bring all the perpetrators to book.
Mr.Alex Amenyo in an interview with AfricaNewsArenaGh's Anaafi Kokooto at a press briefing after the visit revealed that, they got the information about the incident as a hit and run issue but when the personnel got to the scene, came out to be a murder case.
He said, the case is under investigations at the Central Regional Police Headquarters and are in touch with the family in which some suspects have been arrested to assist the police in investigations.
According to him, the police were able to get to the house of the family at Takoradi in the Western region being accompanied by the Western Regional Police Commander, DCOP Mr.Agyemang and other officers.
"Actually we went to console the family, the parents of the victim and the relatives who were gathered," he disclosed.
