C/R: Incumbent Chairman Loses Seat In NPP's Constituency Poll

An incumbent 1st Vice Chairman has lost his seat in the Constituency executives' elections of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).

The Mfantseman Constituency incumbent 1st Vice Chairman, Mr Frederick Berchie-Nuako popularly known as Wofa Yaw was beaten by 41 votes in the election.

He polled 545 votes whilst his contender Mr Nathaniel Owusu polled 586.

Report gathered by AfricaNewsArenaGh.com has indicated that, the supporters of the defeated 1st Vice Chairman had their hearts broken whilst the supporters of the victor were in an absolute frenzy.

Mr Nathaniel Owusu in an interview with AfricaNewsArenaGh expressed his heartfelt appreciation and congratulated Wofa Yaw, the Constituency Party Executives, aspirants and the delegates as he preached unity.

He promised to work harder that would be able to take the NPP to the promised land which is breaking the 8.

The positions contested include Constituency Chairperson, First Constituency Vice-Chairperson, Second Constituency Vice-Chairperson, Constituency Secretary, Constituency Assistant Secretary, and Constituency Treasurer.

The rest are Constituency Organizer, Constituency Women Organizer, Constituency Youth Organizer, and Constituency NASARA Coordinator.
