C/R: Two Communities Clash Over Easter Jams Generator, Three Severely Injured

Three (3) young men of Asemase including a lady have severely sustained various degree of injuries by eight (8) Papagya young men all in the Abura Asebu Kwamankese (AAK) District of the Central Region in a fight over Easter Jams generator, Africanewsarenagh.com can confirm.

Concrete information gathered from the incident reveals the said generator is for the Asemase community, where the residents of Papagya came for it for their Easter Jams. But upon an advise by one of their (Asemase) elders about the same generator that they will equally need it for their Jams, went back for it.

Speaking to Cape Coast based Kingdom FM's Anaafi Kokooto on the incident, a victim by name Joe who had his head smashed with a bottle explained how everything happened, narrating that after the collection of the machine (generator) the following day, residents of Papagya then came to Asemase Community with a float, having placards with write-ups which reads "Warning Asemase."

Adding that he was just watching as everything unfold where suddenly he got himself striked with a bottle by one of these floaters which eluded in a fight between the two communities.

He notified three persons including a lady all got themselves severely injured and are on treatment battling for their lives.

Another victim to this same incident also from Asemase who tried playing the role of a good Samaritan by separating the fight also explains got his head stabbed with a broken bottle, having equally sustained series of severe injuries.
