Information gathered by AfricaNewsArenaGh's Paa Solo Savvy has revealed that Mankessim Police Division is investigating a man’s death after his body was found Wednesday, April 13, 2022 on the street of Zongo Junction.
Officers were deployed to the scene around 16:30GMT after they received a call about a man suspected to have been found dead.
The victim was already dead by the time officers arrived, according to the information gathered and the police have only identified the victim as a 40-year-old man.
Residents in Mankessim have expressed shock as they have been gripped by fear.
The man’s cause of death has yet to be released as the body of the deceased has been deposited at the Municipal Government Hospital at Saltpond pending autopsy.
