The National Council of Private School Teachers (NCOPST) is a registered council under the Registrar General's Department of Ghana with registration number CG059052020

NCOPST is also an accredited CPD Service Provider with the National Teaching Council (NTC). Our mandate as a service provider is to train both public and private school teachers to update and upgrade their teaching skills in the Ghana.

The Council has become one of the vibrant stakeholders in education in Ghana. The Council was recently invited to partake in the recent stakeholders engagement meeting on STEM Education organized by the Ministry of Education (MOE) and National Teaching Council (NTC). 

The Council has also been part of stakeholders engagement meetings on approved textbooks organized by National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NaCCA).

More importantly, the Council work in collaboration with SSNIT, NaSIA, Labour Commission, TUC and the Fair Wages Commission of Ghana to ensure that teachers in private schools in Ghana are paid according to the Minimum Wage threshold as enshrined in the Constitution of the country and approved by the Tripartite Committee of Ghana.

The Council, therefore, calls on teachers who are paid below Ghc370 to fill the form below:
