Many Feared Dead In Appiatse Gas Explosion As Rescue Efforts Continue

An explosion has occurred at Appiatse between Bogoso and Bordee in the Western Region.

The Police says it is collaborating with “other emergency service providers have activated a full emergency recovery exercise.”

The cause of the phenomenon has not yet been confirmed.

In a Facebook post, the Police urged all residents to remain calm as “we manage this unfortunate situation.”It is unclear whether any casualties are involved in the situation which is reported to have happened on Thursday afternoon.
