Muntari spotted watching Hearts-King Faisal GPL game over the weeked with team's suspended skipper Fatawu Mohammed
Hearts of Oak head coach Samuel Boadu has hinted about the possibility of Ghana international Sulley Ali Muntari joining the club in the second round of the season.
Multiple reports in the media indicate that the former Inter Milan midfielder is set to join the Ghana Premier League champions on a one-year deal.
The 37-year-old has been training with side for the past weeks ahead of a possible move.
Sulley has trained with the team in the past but reports of him joining the club when the transfer window opens on February 1, 2022 is gaining momentum.
Muntari who won the UEFA Champions League title with Inter Milan in 2010 was spotted at the stadium during Hearts of Oak’s league match against King Faisal on Sunday.
He was seen together with the suspended captain Fatawu Mohammed.
Speaking after the game on the possibility of Sulley Muntarijoining the Phobians, Samuel Boadu said,
“Sulley Muntari is a motivator and I like the way he speaks to the players. If he joins the team things will change”, he told StarTimes.
