The National Chairman of Ghana Muslim Mission (GMM), Sheikh Dr. Amin Bonsu has called on Ghanaians to cut down expenses and also urged all to be inclusive in building societies and Ghana as a nation.
According to Sheikh, most Ghanaians sometimes spend enormously on 'unnecessary' things that do not contribute to the welfare of the individuals, societies and the nation at large.
He made this statement as the Guest Speaker at the Ghana Muslim Mission 63rd Annual Regional Conference on the Theme: "The Benefit Of Seeking Knowledge" held at Enyan Maim in the Ajumako-Enyan-Esiam District of the Central Region.
Sheikh Dr. Amin Bonsu appealed to the general pubic most especially the youth to stop spending on celebrations and ceremonies that sometimes lead to debt and even lost of one's life.
"The monies spent on gargantuan marriage ceremonies, funerals, parties, pubs, prostitutes, among others could be use to renovate or construct borehole(s), school(s), clinics/hospitals, among others. Doing such attract Allah's generational blessings."
He advised and encouraged the general pubic to be dedicated to work and cultivate the spirit of savings to aquire the maximum capital for a better life.
The National Chairman of Ghana Muslim Mission (GMM), Sheikh Dr. Amin Bonsu speaking on the issue of COVID-19 and the Omicron virus further added that, "let's all be good and law abiding citizens of this country, obey the lay down protocols in order to combat the menace."
