Rev. Derrick Eshun, the general overseer of Dominion Miracle Centre of Faith at Appiatse has revealed an interim Board of which he forms part has been established to see to the welfare of all affected individuals in the Bogoso-Appiatse explosion, but is yet to be inaugurated.
He said the list of board members will be submitted to the Regional Minister Hon. Isaac Dosomani, after which the board will be finally inaugurated.
The reverend minister who wasn't spared as well by the explotion lost his church, as some of his church members also felt casualties to the disaster as well, but stressed non of them died.
Speaking in an interview monitored by AfricaNewsArenaGH.Com stated "a board or better still an interim committee consisting men of high repute, including some individuals of Appiatse has been set to see to the welfare of the people following the disaster, as the list of board members is yet to be submitted to the Regional Minister, which afterwards we will be inaugurated." He said.
"We have already met with the people, and have notified them of the services we are in to render to them and are pleased with us."
"Moreover a bank account has been set aside to receive all monetary funds from all who will be willing to help. But the account number is not yet out, but will be announced any time soon." The reverend minister added.
Speaking on whether some funds have been received after the occurrence of the disaster opined "funds has been coming in from various individuals to help the people of Appiatse, which l can boldly confirm are in safe hands, but will appeal to others to equally come in to help, as alot has been damaged through the explosion, including my church and some members of mine also getting injured in the process, though non of them have lost their lives."
