The Gallant Cadres of NDC Agrees With Sammy Gyamfi

The obnoxious E-Levy of 1.75% cannot be allowed to stand in the 2022 Serwaa BRONI Budget let alone be accepted by the NDC. 

The Gallant Cadres of NDC completely agree with the National Communication Officer, Sammy Gyamfi that the NDC oppose the Hardships E-Levy seeks to bring to the general public.

So far, we have done very well as a Party relative to the 2022 budget debate owing largely to the perseverance displayed by the minority caucus. And that has given us a great deal of goodwill and public support. 

What happened yesterday was a minor communication glitch, which has been resolved by leadership. To dwell on that, can and will erode all the gains we have made. 

For the avoidance of doubt, the position of the Party and our caucus in Parliament on the obnoxious E-Levy has not changed. A statement will soon be issued by our Parliamentary Caucus to clarify issues. 

Until then, let’s all calm down, stay focused and maintain our support for our MPs.
